More Bounce to the Ounce
I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with hairspray. Truth be told, it was mostly hate and very very very light on the love. Growing up in the nineties if your hair wasn’t fried, dyed and sprayed to the side, you weren’t living.
I’m pretty sure my aversion to hairspray stemmed from the extremely brief period of my life when I wore so much hairspray, my hair would embarrassingly find a way to snow flakes at the most inopportune times throughout the school day. Or maybe it was daily unknowingly walking into billows of hairspray while attempting to navigate hallways in between classes. Or maybe is was seeing my classmates don so much hairspray, they could literally stop a bird in flight.
Whatever the reason, just know I was traumatized. Annnnnnnnd I vowed never ever to go back to wearing hairspray until now. . .
Style Without Stiffness
If you know anything about Houston, know this: it’s hot and humid here in these Houston streets 10 out of 12 months of the year. While the humidity is absolutely magical for my skin, the opposite is couldn’t be more true for my hair. #gameover
TRESemmé’s New Compressed Micro-Mist Hair Sprays gives you all the natural style without stiffness. Traditional hairsprays have particles that weigh-down hair and create unwanted build-up.
Queue the Beyonce fan and enter TRESemmé. TRESemmé’s New Compressed Micro-Mist Hair Sprays use a breakthrough Micro-Mist technology that uses super fine polymers. These polymers penetrate the top layer of hair to give a lasting lightweight movable hold that’s humidity and frizz resistant. Also, the new 5.5 ounce cans are easier to hold and use 50% less CO2 gas per spray.

How to Get Effortless Curls
How I get my curls to last
*For tighter curls, I use a 1 1/2″ inch flat iron
*For hair with more body (looser, larger curls), I use a 2″ inch curling iron
Lightly mist hair with a heat protectant. Next, pin up hair and work with 1″ inch sections. Lightly spray each section with hairspray prior to curling. After curling, let the curl begin to cool. To finish cooling, pin curl each section by using 2 fingers (index and middle) to coax into a large loose curl (think roller without the roller). While my hair sets, I do my make-up, brush my teeth, and frantically try on about 10 outfits because I can’t make up my mind. Once my hair is cool, I gently release the pins from my curls. Flip, shake and finger comb my hair into place. Spray with hairspray and go.
